ARBIOS was formed as a the precursor to MCBIOS in September 2002 by Dr. Steve Jennings1, Dr. Bill Slikker2 , Dr. Xiaowei Xu3, and Roger Hall4. The society is currently headed by Vinay Ravindrakumar5 (Chair) and Pierre Alusta6 (Vice-chair). ARBIOS's agenda includes exciting events like bioinformatics networking meetings, social meetings, a fall picnic, a regional symposium and outreach programs.
